Photographer Steffi Rensch (@steffimarla) moved to Berlin from a small German town 16 years ago and, as the saying goes, never looked back. (Having spent time in Berlin ourselves, we don’t blame her). We tagged along with Steffi through the streets of the capital city, and she shared with us some of her favorite spots. It's enough to make us want to plan another trip back pronto!

I spend most of my time in the neighborhoods of Prenzlauer Berg, Mitte, and Kreuzberg – the energy there is amazing! You can always find nice Cafés and great places to photograph.

The Potsdamer Platz offers astounding views of the city. It’s definitely a must visit on a nice day.

Berlin is filled with so much history. Visit the Holocaust Memorial designed by architect Peter Eisenman. It pays tribute to millions of Holocaust victims during WWII.

Take in some art at the historical Bode Museum which houses Byzantine art. Don’t forget to catch the views in the surrounding area.

As the day winds down, relax and spend your evening at Landwehr Canal or Mauer Park.

Don’t forget to follow Steffi on Instagram (@steffimarla) to see more of her beautiful captures of this enchanted city!
