Genneya is a beautifully talented dancer, actress, & model. Born and raised in the sunny West Coast, she’s a true California babe. Such a treat spending the afternoon with her in this studio space watching her dance and be free. I met Genneya a couple years ago and she had the sweetest spirit. She’s had so much success at such a young age but still managed to stay down to earth. Best known for her role as Bryden Bandweth from the Netflix show Project Mc², you may also have seen her on Nickelodeon, Disney, CBS and more. You can’t miss her beautiful smile and bubbly energy. Remember this knockout’s name and face. It’s going to be everywhere!

How did you start dancing?
When I was little my mom was playing Barbie in The Nutcracker and I started dancing. She put me in a dance class and 13 years later here I am!

Before I danced I was actually really shy but dancing brought me out of my shell.

How long have you been acting?
I’ve been acting for a little over five years now. If you had asked me 6 years ago what I wanted to be when I grew up, I’d say a professional dancer. I guess life had a different idea for me and though I was introduced to acting through the dance world, it has taken a backseat. Here’s to following wherever life takes you!

How do you spend your time?
Lately I have made it a point to only spend time with people who have nothing but a positive impact on my life. I’m a firm believer that you are a product of who you surround yourself with so I am around warm, kind, loving, and encouraging souls. With people like that, we could do absolutely nothing or everything with our time together and it is bound to be a great day of memories.

If you could, would you change how you've spent your time?
Quite honestly, I would not change a thing. The different ways I have chosen to spend my time have lead me to this very moment. I am very content with where I am at in life and would prefer not to waste time wishing to change the way I did things in the past.

How do you want to be remembered?
I hope to have an impact on people’s lives. Even if it is only one person, I hope in this lifetime that I can make a difference in someone’s life for the better and that people remember me for that.

What's your style?
I’m trying to switch it up but a lot of my style really depends on my mood. I haven’t quite decided but I don’t think I have to. I’m still figuring it out.

Are you into accessories?
I just started getting into chain necklaces, layering jewelry and rings. My dad has always said I would look cute wearing a watch but Leonard & Church is actually my first watch!

Welcome to our watch fam! I love your bubbly energy & spirit - any advice for young performers?
PATIENCE - this is something I need to work on myself and it's constantly a battle. But life is funny, things don't always happen the way you want them to but once it starts panning out it all begins to make sense. So trust the journey. All in due time!

What do you want to share with the world?
There's so much negativity around these day, especially with social media. So it really means so much to be positive and happy I really want to spread that.

"I have exciting news coming soon so keep up with me on my socials for the reveal!" Thank you so much for spending time with us today Genneya!
